Working mainly with natural materials, each design combines minimal and timeless forms with a touch of handcrafted warmth.
We value the unique charm that can only be achieved through small-scale, thoughtful production—not mass manufacturing.

Starting from the SS25 collection, our apparel line offers total coordination through a selection of cut-and-sewn pieces and hand-knitted garments.
Each item harmonizes beautifully when layered in the same color or mixed in different shades of the same fabric—and looks refined even when worn on its own.

All cut-and-sewn pieces are produced in collaboration with domestic factories,
while our knitwear, hats, and accessories are handmade in our own atelier.

Tsuyumi was founded in New York in 2005 and has been based in Tokyo since 2022.

主に天然素材を使用し、一見ミニマルでタイムレスなデザインの中に、
作り手の温もりを感じられるクラフト的なエッセンスを織り込んでいます。
大量生産では決して生まれない、手仕事ならではの特別な魅力を大切にしています。

SS25コレクションよりスタートしたアパレルラインでは、
カットソーとハンドメイドのニットによるトータルコーディネートを提案。
同素材のアイテムを同色で重ねたり、別カラーで合わせても自然に馴染み、
一枚でさらりと着てもサマになるアイテムを揃えています。

カットソーは国内工場と連携して製作し、
ニットアイテムや帽子、小物は自社アトリエにてハンドメイドで仕立てています。

Tsuyumi は、2005年にニューヨークでスタートし、2022年より東京を拠点に活動しています。

 

Designer: Tsuyumi Iizuka 

Understated drama and the playfulness of childhood meet in the talents of designer Tsuyumi Iizuka.
She is the recipient of the gold medal in the 13th Annual Lumine Fashion Design Prize for her line that presented a merging of skirts and shirts as on metaphor. After graduating from Tokyo Bunka Fashion College, she worked for an apparel company in Tokyo.
She started her hats and knit accessories collection from the 2005 Fall/Winter collection in NYC. The line under the designer's own name brings all of her experience together creating products that are unique, minimal modern shapes yet fit well, cozy, and incorporate craft details.
Tsuyumi moved back to Japan in 2022.
All products are handmade by the designer at her atelier in Tokyo.

デザイナー：イイヅカ　ツユミ

東京文化服装学院アパレルデザイン科卒。在学中に第13 回ルミネファッション大賞金賞受賞。卒業後アパレル企業にて６年間ファッションデザイナーを努めたのち渡米。

2004年、自らデザイン／製作を手がける、帽子,アクセサリー,アパレルのブランド ”TSUYUMI” を立ち上げる。2005年秋冬コレクションより、ニューヨークのファッション展示会、d&a, Capsule, Woman, Shoppe Object 等に参加。アメリカ、カナダ、ヨーロッパ、韓国のセレクトショップ等で取り扱われる。その他、Steven Alan, Bridge & Burn等のブランドとのコラボレーションやデザイン提供を行う。

2022年春夏コレクションより東京へ拠点を移す。
